President Carol opened the meeting and introduced the new Rotary Banner for 2021—Serve Others’
A note from the Board Meeting this week—there will be no increase in subs this year.
Carol introduced Matt who is leaving us to go back to Corryong. He’s quite excited to be going home.
Glenda provided a slideshow of Rotary members in action dating back to 2011. It provided a wonderful conversation starter for the night. Thanks Glenda.
 
PIES BY BOBBY
Tonight  the annual pie night auction was held, with a number of pies of different varieties produced and donated by Bobby Dewar were auctioned.
There were pies of lamb, beef, venison and chicken, none of which were attributed to roadkill,. David Anderson acted as auctioneer and prices for pairs of pies started at $40. The total amount raised was $1085. Congratulations and thanks Bobby!

ELAINE WHITE—3 MINUTER
Elaine introduced APOPO a program which trains rats to locate mines in old warzones. It started in Africa and has been in Cambodia for 10 years where Elaine saw rats being trained. Cambodia has 40 thousand amputees who have been in-jured by mines exploding, mainly on land that they are farming.. In 2017, dogs were introduced to the program.
 
SERGEANT’S SESSION
Tony Jacobs made the most of the opportunity to remind members of the errors of their ways.
