In House Trivia Night
Our multi-talented President, Tony, turned his hand to Quiz Master, and pre-sided over a very closely contested quiz. Members were divided four teams and presented with two pages of questions which challenged our memories of sporting, geographic, important dates and other events, causing much head scratching, lively discussion and laughter!Team Fitzy were the winners—congratulations Gary F, Sam, Rodney, Marj and Ann,
Thanks Tony, that was fun!
Three minute speaker—Sue Carpenter
Sue had proudly attended the opening of an initiative in Marysville, which was the upgrade to street lighting of public space with 4 solar lights. This was a jointly funded project with District Rotary and Murrindindi Shire. During the 2022 District Conference, which was held in Marysville, a Rotary member sustained injury due to a fall while walking back to accommodation during the conference. The upgrade o
f low lighting in the area be-came a project for Anne Reid, with a $5,000 contribution from District 9790.
Well done, Rotary!
