DG District 1470 Jakob Volther
Jakob spoke about his club in Denmark of which he has been a member for 38 years. His passion has been working with Youth Ex-change though he’s had every role except secretary and treasurer.
This was his twelfth convention.
His district has 50 plus clubs including Greenland.
Jakob provoked a lot of questions, mainly around Youth Exchange.
Glenda announced that Tippy and Ando had been part of the Host Organising Committee for the RI Convention in Melbourne and had been acknowledged publicly at the closing ceremony on Wednesday.
David announced the Past RI President Holger Knack would be in Yea on Friday and anyone who would like to join him and David and Tippy at an informal dinner in Yea on Friday night was welcome. Just contact David by lunchtime on Friday.
Amendments to Club Bylaws.
Proposed amendments had been circulated and President Tony took a vote on whether they should be adopted. There was a YES majority.
